He was not used to getting too close to women. Suanne was no exception, even though she meant something to him.
That is... except for Margaret!
"Have a good rest, Mr. Limbaugh." Suanne nodded.
She was already lucky enough to dance with Charleston in front of the crowd.
She was a greedy fiend; not only did she want to be his dancing partner, but she also desired for the 'Mrs. Limbaugh' title.
She just could not say this out loud.
Charleston only placed his disdain for her at bay as he was under the assumption that she had been the woman from that night.
Besides, she would not take it for granted.
She knew where she stood and knew not to cross the line.
Suanne stared at Charleston's figure from behind.
Her eyes were filled with determination.
She was determined to become Mrs. Limbaugh. No one could stop her.
No one!
Just as Charleston was heading back to the lounge, Larry approached him.
"Mr. Limbaugh, Miss Simons has been brought home," Larry reported in a low voice.
Charleston paused for a moment. He asked, "Did she say anything?"
"No!"
What a cruel little woman.
Charleston's lips twitched, "Let's go back."
The initial purpose of coming to the cruise party had been to introduce some people to Margaret.
After all, having connections was crucial if she wanted to survive in the entertainment industry.
Yet, he did not expect that things would end up this way.
"Yes!"
...
Margaret rested at home for a few days.
Her foot injury had also healed.
It was time to go back to Galaxy Entertainment.
In the past few days, Charleston did not send anyone to contact her.
