Distractedly nibbling on her breakfast, Adelaide seized a moment when no one was paying attention to shoot Morwenna a provocative glance. Her eyes seemed to taunt, "See? Not only am I still here at Rosefrost Hollow, but I've made it into the manor. What can you possibly do to me, even if you did marry Stuart?"
