In the capital.

Sheri started to sell her handmade medicine in the form of herbal pills. The world she's in had what they called 'refiner' wherein they refine the herb to make a pill from it's energy then it will become a super-powerful pill.

Sheri was amazed. Trying one pill, she was impressed by it's effect on her body. The pill was usually expensive costing a big amount of money just to acquire it. But for Sheri, she cannot do it. She doesn't have the ability of a refiner.

Her mission is to help the ordinary people. She doesn't know why the owner of the body asked that, nevertheless, many of the poor were coming to her to buy her handmade medicine to cure for headache and other common illnesses. Before she let them have it, she specifically told them the side effects and instructed how to used it properly. Most of the poor are glad because they can offer Sheri with herbs, rice or anything as payment instead of money. Sheri as well gladly accepted them.

In some cases wherein a person can't afford it, she would look further at their situation and recommended an alternative on how to pay her. She tries her best to help them as much as she could.

Not just by selling the handmade pills but Sheri also made money by planting herbs through a modern way from her old world then sell it with a big price to the refiners. Her name was well known especially to the poor in which Sheri was glad.

One day while walking on a small road, she bumped into a child who was running.

"Please save me, Auntie, they want to buy me." The innocent child begged Sheri while clinging tightly on the hem of her clothes. Right then, Sheri saw 4 big men approaching.

"Give that child to us." One of the men ordered.

"How much do you want for her?" Sheri calmly asked.

The 3 men whispered to each other, then after a while, they turned to her and gave ominous expressions on their face as they laughed.

"Miss, you and her, have no escape."

Sheri's brows raised up. She squatted down and face the young child of about 6 years of age.

"Close your eyes, cover your ears and try to sing alright?". She smiled and calmly instructed the little girl.

The young child did what Sheri said. As the kid started to sing, Sheri swiftly attacked the men without any warning. They were not ordinary people but Sheri's technique was more handy than their strength and power.

Sheri gripped the neck of the guy and twisted. When the other 3 men saw that their brother died, they simultaneously attacked her. Sheri was not at all concerned but continued to kick and punch the two men in their vital points making them instantly lose their balance and fall. The last man was supposed to run but Sheri flipped through the air and went for his head. Using his hand, she twisted it.

All of the men died but Sheri didn't care. These people didn't deserve a second chance. They targeted and took innocent lives without any remorse at all. They were monsters.

Leaving that place, she carried the child in her arm and walked as fast as she could away from the crime scene. Sheri knew those men were pedophiles. In the era they are in, parents sell their children for a small amount of money or children were being trafficked or worst being raped. Knowing about these occurrences, she cannot stomach everything that was happening the reason she walked every night to this small road and the dark alleys for it is where most of the crimes were happening.

Away from where the dead bodies of the men lay, she brought the little girl down.

"You can open now your eyes. Are you alone or do you have a family?" Sheri asked with concern. Hearing her question, the child just cried.

"I was playing outside of our home and someone just grabbed me. They put me together with other children. Some children were sold out to somewhere. I was lucky I was able to run." Cried the child.

"Shh it's alright now. Are you hungry?" Sheri comforted the child as she told in between her cries.

One fine day while Sheri was gathering a herb in one of the mountains, she heard a yelping sound of an animal. She searched and found a small beautiful fox trapped in an animal trap. She slowly approached the fox but it growled at her.

"Easy boy, I just want to help." Sheri placed the things she's holding down. She went forward to where the trap is and was about to reach out her hand and release the animal but out of nowhere, a sudden force hit her making her fly and hit a big tree. Sheri coughed blood and looked who hit her.

"How dare you trap my beast." Sheri looked and saw a man dressed up in red. His voice was cold. Sheri wanted to retort but she felt pain in her chest.

Sheri's brow was twisted and again she coughed blood. The fox growled at the man. It took some time before she stopped and felt better and looked back at the man holding the fox. It went down and licked its feet. The man, after listening to the fox growl, approached her.

"I apologize. I thought you're the one who set up the trap. Here, use it for your injury. I bet your injury was deep." The man said and threw a red pill towards her.

Sheri was so angry that she stood up and crashed the pill on her palm. She approached him and slapped him in the face. Sheri's face was twisted in pain.

"Ouch!" Sheri felt a stinging pain on her palm when she hit him on the face.

'What kind of face does he have, an iron?' Sheri thought while swaying her hands. She glared at the man and step on his foot. He didn't feel any pain. When she saw that all the things she does, doesn't cause him pain.

She went back to where she just put her things down, gathered it on her arms and walked away.

The fox and the man were frozen in spot. After some time, the fox started to laugh forgetting about the pain on his foot looking at the man holding his cheek with a confused expression.
