I got married without you (James and Amelia) novel Chapter 1118

Chapter 1118 Who are you to ask me to drink

Paul pretended to be there for the meal, pulled out a chair next to James, and sat down as if nothing had happened.

When asked, Stella snapped out of it and glanced at Paul, then at Eva and Jayden.

Finally, she withdrew her gaze, got up with a stiff upper lip, went to the kitchen to get a set of utensils, and placed them in front of Paul’s dining table…

They served steak, which Paul was very skilled at. He picked up a knife and fork, cut a piece of steak, and put it in his mouth.

As he ate his food, he couldn’t help but look up at the people at the table. Seeing everyone staring at him, he lifted his chin.

“Why are you all staring at me?”

When Paul said this, he didn’t dare to look at James beside him, for fear of being kicked out by him.

James, who felt shameful, did indeed raise his finger and wanted the bodyguard to kick Paul out…

Who are you to ask me to drink

But at this moment, Jayden held up a bottle of red wine and poured it into Paul’s wine glass.

“Paul, originally, Henry just invited a few friends to get together. Since you’ve come uninvited, let’s have a drink together, shall we?”

This statement clearly had a provocative meaning.

It was the first time James see Paul was being provoked by a love rival, he found it quite interesting and withdrew his slender fingers.

“Dr. Sherwood, are you sure you want to drink with me?”

Paul, leaning back in his dining chair, raised his chin slightly, looked at James with disdain in his eyes.

After pouring the wine, James put down the bottle, raised a harmless smile, and pursed his lips in a smile.

“Are you afraid to drink?”

“Am I afraid?”

Paul sneered, having spent years frequenting entertainment venues and earning the nickname of “never getting drunk after a thousand cups.” Was Jayden trying to kill himself or simply shameless by challenging him to a drinking contest?

“If you dare, then finish this drink.”

Who are you to ask me to drink 3/4 Jayden’s words confirmed his provocation.

Paul’s expression shifted from carefree to angry in an instant.

“What makes you think you have the right to tell me to drink?!”

Seeing Paul losing his temper, a smile appeared on Jayden’s face.

“It’s just a drink, don’t get so worked up.”

Jayden added another remark:

“If you need a reason, let’s make it for what happened last time and put an end to it.”

“What happened last time and put an end to it?”
