Chapter 1121 James tests Eva’s mind
Jayden suspected that James was helping Paul, but he couldn’t
quite tell
Without much thought, he quickly picked up a bottle of wine and
walked over to James.
He poured a bit of red wine into James’s glass, then poured
himself a glass.
“I’ll pour myself a glass, you can have whatever you want.”
He had just poured a full glass for his younger brother, breaking
from tradition, so naturally he poured James’s glass full as well.
Jayden quickly drank his wine, but James only took a small sip, seemingly giving J face but also making him feel a bit
embarrassed.
Jayden, who had better emotional intelligence, didn’t say
anything, just glanced at the wine glass and then looked away, smiling gently at James
“Take your time.”
Jayden wanted to leave after finishing his drink, but how could
James let him go?
James tests Eva’s mind
“Andrew also wants to have a few drinks with Dr. Sherwood, is that okay?”
Andrew, who was eating voraciously with his head down, heard James mention him and quickly put down his utensils, picked up his wine glass, and walked over to Jayden.
“Come on, Dr. Sherwood, it’s a good day today, let’s go drink to our heart’s content over there…”
Andrew was big and strong, and when he grabbed Jayden’s shoulder, Jayden had no resistance and could only be dragged to a corner to drink.
Amelia looked at Jayden who was being forced to play rock-paper-scissors by Andrew, pursed her lips, wanting to say something, but James grabbed her hand that was resting on her
leg.
“Don’t worry, Andrew knows his limits.”
“I know.”
Amelia shifted his gaze to Eva, who kept her head down.
“I’m afraid Eva might feel awkward. After all, her current boyfriend
is Jayden.”
James, who felt that Amelia was being blunt, raised his handsome
James tests Eva’s mind eyebrows slightly.
“If Eva thinks I’m out of line, she’ll stop me.”
James just wanted to see how much Paul occupied in Eva’s heart.
If, in this situation, Eva still pitied Jayden, then Paul would have no
chance…
