Chapter 1422 Make up for last night
The man embraced Amelia, tilted his head and captured her lips with his own.
“Be good, I won’t act like that anymore,” he whispered.
Amelia buried her head in the crook of his neck.
“Every time you’re cold to me, it frightens me,” she said, her voice tinged with sadness. James tightened his embrace around her.
“I’m sorry, I won’t do it again. I promise,” he reassured her.
Amelia lightly nuzzled the man’s neck, like a little kitten.
“Fine, I’ll forgive you this time. But if you do it again, I won’t talk to you for a month.”
Ignoring him for one night was already unbearable for him, so a whole month would surely drive him crazy.
The man parted his thin lips, wanting to say something, but before he could, Amelia took the initiative and kissed him.
With a kiss, all the words he wanted to say were swallowed up, and in an instant, he forgot what he wanted to say.
Accompanied by the sound of trickling water, their breaths
mingled as they kissed, reluctant to part…
After a moment, the woman’s legs turned weak, and she clung to his waist, tightening her grip….
Thinking it was over, she was then thrown back onto the bed by him.
“Hey, that’s enough!”
The man, not feeling a bit tired, patiently coaxed her.
“We need to make up for last night.”
Amelia ignored him, struggling to get up, but her legs were held by the man.
With a slight pull, she fell back into his embrace.
As the man pressed down on her from behind again, Amelia turned her head and glared at him.
“We have an appointment with Anthony at ten! We’re running out of time…”
“Let him wait.”
James grabbed her hand and placed it above their heads. Then his large, gentle hand slid down her arm, covering her hand.
He separated her fingers and interlocked them with his own, using his other hand to lift her slender waist…
