Chapter 1427 Ulterior motives 

James glanced at Frank and said coolly, “His sister sent a gift as a thanks. Shouldn’t I invite him to dinner?” 

Being older, Frank didn’t understand the hidden meaning behind James’ words, but he knew James was angry. “I’ll go get him right away” 

When Jonny heard that James wanted to treat him to a meal, his deep pupils gradually widened. “What does he mean?” 

Nick shook his head. “I don’t know. The old man who came only said that James wanted to thank you for your sister’s gift, so he’s inviting you to dinner.”
