“It seems that you have some ability.”
Kevin wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her hard on the check. “Tell me, baby, what reward do you want?”
Amelia covered her cheek and said calmly, “Mr. Harris, I don’t want any reward. Just ask your people to leave my friend’s wedding house.”
“No problem.”
Kevin immediately made a phone call to ask his men to withdraw.
Only then did Amelia let out a sigh of relief. She turned around, picked up the drugged glass of wine, and handed it to Kevin.
“Mr. Harris, I brought you the wine. Would you like to have a drink with me?”
“Drink with you?”
Kevin slightly raised his eyebrows. He did not expect Amelia to take the initiative to invite him to drink.
Surprised, Kevin thought Amelia had come to her senses and
quickly leaned in and asked in her ear, “What’s wrong? Have you changed your mind? Are you willing to let me touch you?”
Amelia feared Kevin would suspect her, so she maintained her previous attitude and said coldly, “Mr. Harris, what are you thinking? I’ve already told you I don’t want to sleep with you, so I traded the project. How can you go back on your word?”
Hearing this, Kevin was a little unhappy. “Then why do you want me to drink with you?”
Frowning, Amelia said, “Mr. Harris, I invited you to drink because I wanted to thank you. After all, you let me go twice in a row. Not only did you not touch me, but you also trusted me so much. I cannot be ungrateful. At the very least, I should offer you a drink as a gesture of thanks.”
