Chapter 229 The Silver
Seeing Curtis' name, she had a feeling that nothing good would happen.
After she answered the call, Curtis' low voice came through. "Mrs. Martin, Mr. Martin wants you to come to the Silver now."
Harper paused for a moment upon hearing "the Silver".
In the morning, he asked her to tell Curtis to reserve a private room at the Silver, as he wanted to treat his guest to a meal.
She thought, "Why should I go when he's having lunch with another woman?"
Harper asked, "Is there anything wrong?"
"Mr. Martin doesn't understand some parts of the design drawings and hopes that you can provide some clarification."
"I can come to your company, and it's lunchtime now. I..."
"Mrs. Martin, please come over. Mr. Martin has other arrangements in the afternoon, so he may not have time."
Harper stopped talking. Curtis' forehead broke out in a cold sweat as he secretly glanced at Benjamin.
After a while, Harper said, "Okay."
Curtis breathed a sigh of relief and looked at Benjamin, saying, "Mr. Martin, Mrs. Martin will be here soon."
Benjamin remained silent, his expression revealing no emotion.
