I Once Married You (Harper and Benjamin) novel Chapter 324

Chapter 324 The Wedding

Harper poured some water and got some fruit for Lily before returning to the table for dinner.

Benjamin frowned and stared at Lily, who urged, "Have dinner with Harper. You don't have to look at me all the time."

He didn't say anything, but Lily wouldn't come for nothing. There should be something important, but she didn't mention it, so he wasn't in a hurry.

Benjamin and Harper sat down to eat, but there was still no dialogue or interaction throughout the whole process.

Lily realized that they really had a quarrel.

While they were having dinner, Lily briefly walked around. Then, Harper finished her meal. Benjamin was clearing away the tableware, and Lily showed a contented smile. "Benjamin, Harper is pregnant now. You have to take good care of her. You have to rush to do the housework and don't let her get tired. Do you understand?"

Benjamin didn't make a sound but glanced at Lily.

Harper said, "Lily, shall I accompany you to visit my grandma now?"

"Okay."

Lily and Harper went to the opposite apartment together with the gifts prepared for Eleanor.

After Benjamin washed the dishes and went over, the atmosphere was particularly lively. No one paid attention to him.

Lily was very good at chatting and this made Eleanor very happy. Plus, both of them were well-educated and elegant, so the topics were quite pleasant.

They stayed at Eleanor's place for an hour.

Lily suddenly suggested, "Eleanor, Harper is pregnant. After all, the Martin family is to blame. Benjamin and Harper have been married for more than a year without a wedding. Since she is an expecting mother, it can't be held, so we can only postpone it until the baby is born. Don't worry. I promise you that we will organize a wedding for Harper. Let's get down to the nitty-gritty now, okay? This way, we can prepare in advance. What do you think, Eleanor?"

Lily expressed her apologies earnestly and then sincerely asked for Eleanor's opinion.

Her attitude wasn't annoying but very polite.
