Chapter 394 The Other Men

Lily was delighted, continuously saying, "It's beautiful, adorable."

Harper bowed her head, a bit embarrassed by the praise.

Lily glanced at Benjamin, who was standing to the side, and asked casually, "Benjamin, what do you think? Does Harper look good?"

Harper froze, instinctively looking towards Benjamin.

His soulful gaze was already fixed on her, and as their gazes met, she uncomfortably shifted her gaze away, hearing his low voice say, "Yes, she looks very nice."

"Harper, did you hear that? Benjamin thinks you look good. I didn't lie to you, right?"

Harper's cheeks flushed, and she cast a sidelong glance at the man next to her, lips slightly pursed in silence.

After picking up some clothes, Lily took Harper to browse other shops, with Benjamin following behind like a pack mule, carrying the shopping bags.

They spent the morning shopping this way and even had lunch out.

Harper could tell that Benjamin was feeling helpless, so after dinner, she quickly said to Lily, "Lily, I feel a bit tired, I think I'll head home to rest."

"You are tired? That's my fault for being too excited and dragging you around shopping nonstop. Are you feeling okay anywhere else?"

"It's nothing. My feet are just a bit tired. I'll be fine once I lie down at home."

Lily immediately turned to Benjamin and said, "You take Harper home to rest. I'll have the driver come pick me up."

"Lily, why don't you come back with us?"

"No need. I have plans later. I'm meeting friends to play card games. I'll just have the driver take me straight there."

Since Lily had no other hobbies apart from card games, Harper didn't insist further. They waited together for the driver, and then she left with Benjamin.

On the way back to the apartment, Harper initiated a conversation. "Is shopping more tiring than work for you?"

Benjamin, driving, looked at her with a gentle gaze. "Not really."
