To avoid getting into trouble with Colbert, Eudora smiled coyly and said, "Well... Could you please get up? I need to go outside to get something."

It was quite a coincidence.

It just so happened that Eudora met Lance on the day of her birthday.

As Eudora turned her head, she saw Colbert leaning against the wall with his arms folded, watching the gift box in her hand with great interest and waiting for her to open it.

Eudora licked her lips, feeling as if she couldn't prove her innocence without opening the gift box.

"Don't worry. I'll open it right now, so you can take a look at it."

Eudora walked to the table while she spoke, placed the box on the low table, slowly unwrapped the ribbon, and lifted the lid of the box.

Filled with curiosity, she peeked at the contents of the box. However, when she caught a glimpse of what was inside, she blushed a little and immediately put the lid back on.

She was as quick as lightning.

Colbert walked over, sat down on the couch, and leaned forward while keeping his eyes fixed on the white gift box. He questioned with raised brows, "What is that great gift that you're hiding from me?"

Eudora smiled obsequiously and pouted again in a coquettish manner before saying, "Girls like keeping their gifts a secret, so you're not supposed to see the gift I've received from someone else."

Although she was wearing a smile on her face, she was cussing in her head.
