The three entered the elevator. Colbert still hugged Eudora’s neck sometimes stroked her cheek with the hand on her shoulder, and ran his fingers through her hair. The way he looked at her was so affectionate.
Lisha, who was standing in a corner, clutched her bag tightly, with mixed emotions flashing in her eyes.
Soon, the elevator stopped on the top floor, and the door slowly opened.
The two walked out, and Lisha followed behind.
After swiping the key card and entering the door, Eudora thoughtfully took out a pair of brand-new slippers and put them on the floor. "Lisha, put them on. You must be tired in high heels."
"Thanks."
Lisha thanked Eudora and put the slippers on.
After putting on her slippers, Eudora turned around and walked toward the living room, but Colbert grabbed her wrist.
"What's the matter?" Eudora, who was grabbed by the wrist, frowned, somehow puzzled.
"I want them, too."
"What do you want?"
Eudora was confused, but when Colbert pointed to the slippers on Lisha's feet, she suddenly realized.
Looking back on the time she was with Colbert, she felt it seemed that she had never been so considerate of him.
She bent, took out his slippers from the shoe cabinet, put them in front of Colbert, then put her hands on her stomach and bowed. "Mr. Steele, please change your shoes."
"Call me honey."
Colbert was very pleased with Eudora's every move and act, though she was just playing. He smiled, reminding her in a good mood.
Eudora pursed her lips, trying not to laugh, and bowed deeply again. "Honey, you must be exhausted. Please change your shoes."
She found out that Colbert had an expression of enjoyment after getting the slippers she offered, which also made Eudora happy.
"For God's sake!"
Lisha, who was standing on the side, couldn't help but complain, "Can you be any more cloying? I'm still here. Would you consider my feelings? You're gonna break up if you keep doing like this."
Lisha teased, but she was very upset in her heart.
Colbert took off his shoes, changed into slippers, leaned over, put the leather shoes on the shoe rack, and said leisurely, "Go out if you can't stand us. No one is stopping you."
