After a short while, Eudora's phone received more than thirty messages. They were from Chasel, Hugh, the communication provider, and Colbert.
Eudora immediately called Chasel without thinking too much.
After the phone rang for a while, Chasel finally answered the call.
"Eudora? Is it really you? Where are you now?"
Chasel's voice sounded on the phone, and he asked excitedly.
Eudora could clearly feel Chasel's for her, even if they were talking on the phone. She was moved and said, "I'm back, safe and sound. Don't worry about me too much. Chasel, thank you."
Chasel had helped her a lot during this period, and she was sincerely grateful.
When Colbert heard it, his face was very cold and dark.
He thought, 'Bloody woman. Chasel didn't do anything, but she thanked him. I saved her. Why didn't she thank me?'
Colbert felt very unfair in his heart.
"I'm glad you're back. It was... Colbert, who saved you?"
When Chasel mentioned Colbert, he could not hide his disappointment in his words.
But Eudora didn't notice it. She nodded and said, "Yes. We just came back yesterday. How about you? Where are you now?"
Chasel replied.
They chatted for a while before hanging up the phone.
After hanging up the phone, Eudora clutched the phone, leaned against the car seat dejectedly, rubbed the phone screen with her fingertips, and lowered her head in thought. Then she let out a deep sigh.
"What? Do you feel sorry for him?"
Colbert noticed Eudora seemed to be worried about Chasel after she contacted him, so Colbert felt a little upset in his heart.
Eudora tilted her head slightly and glanced at Colbert casually. "What does it have to do with you?"
