Chapter 23 Having Dinner with Chasel

At this time, Eudora, who was in a daze on the roadside, was startled by the ringtone of her phone.

She picked up the phone and saw it was called by Chasel.

"Eudora, aren't you going to treat me to dinner? What? Do you want to take back your words?"

Chasel's teasing voice sounded on the phone.

Eudora could feel Chasel was so carefree and happy even through the phone.

She envied Chasel for a moment.

She was envious of him because he was born into a wealthy family. Even though he was ridiculed by everyone, he would not be affected and still do whatever he wanted.

"Of course not. See you at Penguin Diner in an hour."

"Alright. I'll be there right away. Do you want me to pick you up?"

"No need."

"Okay then. See you later."

After hanging up the phone, Eudora rode her battery cart to Philomel Club.

When she met the manager at the club, she offered to resign. The manager readily agreed and asked the finance department to settle her wages.

Eudora knew Philomel Club was under Colbert's name, so she was not surprised that the manager readily agreed to her resignation.

Then she said goodbye to her friends in the security department. As Hugh was not here, Eudora could only invite him to dinner next time.

After leaving the club, she rode to Penguin Diner. When she arrived, Chasel had already parked his flamboyant royal blue Maserati aside.

He was sitting inside, playing with his phone, and waiting for her.

Eudora suddenly felt Chasel was more approachable than Colbert, although he was also born into a wealthy family.

Eudora stepped forward and knocked on the car window. Through the half-slit car window, she said to Chasel, "Are you flirting with girls again? Are you not afraid of being punished for ruining those little girls?"

Eudora said in a teasing tone.

Seeing her coming, Chasel put away his phone, opened the car door, and got out of the car. "What can I do? I am so charming. All those young ladies like to be around me."
