The people on the side talked a lot, and they were full of praise for Eudora.
Chasel rushed over, grabbed Eudora's arms, and looked her up and down. "How are you feeling? Are you okay? What's wrong? Do you want me to take you to the hospital?"
He was very worried about Eudora's safety, and his voice even trembled.
"It's okay. I'm fine."
Eudora shook her head and smiled. "It's not a big deal. How can I let that hit me? Come on."
While laughing and teasing, she tilted her head and stared at the black unlicensed van that was fading away.
This car seemed to be heading towards her.
Who would want to kill her so badly?
Besides the Baldwin family, who else could there be?
There were some things that she could guess about the person behind the scenes without even thinking about it, but Alva was going to marry Colbert now. Why did Alva still refuse to let her go?
"What are you looking at? I'm talking to you."
Chasel was terrified, and his whole body went limp with fright. Only God knew how terrible that scene was just now.
"What? Oh, nothing."
Eudora shook her head and chuckled. "The driver of that car must have lost his mother. Otherwise, why did he drive so fast?"
Chasel squeezed out a blunt smile on his handsome face to cooperate with Eudora's words and said, "It's good that you are fine. Your reaction was very fast. That's great."
He praised her without hesitation.
"Of course."
Eudora smiled triumphantly and walked to the opposite side of the road with him.
After the two left, the order of the road returned to normal, and the cars drove normally. The people, who were around, went back to their own businesses as if nothing had happened.
Walking to the square, Eudora couldn't help but ask Chasel, "What exactly is the gift you said?"
