Everyone gossiped, and even the guests who came for the birthday banquet cast their gaze curiously.
Eudora felt somewhat uncomfortable being stared at by those people.
However, it was Belinda's birthday banquet, so she must not cause any trouble.
"I should bear it." She talked to herself.
"Hey, Alva?"
Suddenly, someone called from behind.
Eudora stopped in her tracks. When she turned around, she saw a beautiful woman with long chestnut hair tied into a bun and wearing a star-studded black dress. She wore a necklace and a crown studded with diamonds on her head. She dressed gorgeously, like a princess walking out of a fairy tale castle.
"But did she just call me Alva?" Eudora thought.
"Sorry, you're mistaken. My name is Eudora Stanford," Eudora introduced her identity loud and clear.
"Oh, so you are Alva's younger sister, Eudora?" The woman in the black dress extended her hand politely and introduced herself, "Hello, Eudora. Let me introduce myself, my name is Jayleen Farrell, and I'm..."
While she said, she glanced at Colbert, standing beside Eudora, and continued, "Colbert's childhood friend."
When she mentioned that, Eudora immediately thought of the identity of the woman before her.
And Eudora as a wedding venue decorator, wandered around the banquet hall for the whole morning on the wedding day, so she recognized a few people by face.
After thinking it over, she knew that they must be Alva's friends, and they were fighting against injustice for Alva and making things difficult for her.
Eudora raised her hand, tidied her hair, and put it behind her ear. Then, she turned her head to look at the girl who scolded her for being no manners just now and sneered, "Politeness is for people, but scumbags, not worthy!"
With that, she looked at another woman, "Your name is Stella, right? It's okay to be blind, but you don't even have a moral. Look at you. Your skin is dull, and you're short. Besides, you're not busty at all, yet you are wearing a white strapless sundress. You have tightened the dress to the limit yet still flat. You must have used a lot of falsies, don't you? I think it's better for you to use the money you paid for the dress to go and do surgery to enlarge your breasts. Stop pretending to be charming and end up looking like a joke."
"What the hell? I must have forgotten to check my horoscope today before I come out. I don't even enter the door of Steele Mansion yet, and I have heard several scumbags barking non-stop. Such annoying!"
