When Eudora's hand was about to touch the box, she quickly withdrew it. "Colbert, come over here and take a look. The dust on this box varies in depth, and even a few fingerprints exist. It indicates that someone else knows about this place and has been here."
Colbert approached her, his gaze fixed on the box intricately carved with special patterns.
There were clear fingerprints on the patterns, but they were covered with a thin layer of dust.
"From the thickness and spacing of the fingerprints, I could tell that it's obviously a man's," Colbert observed.
Colbert reached out and opened the box, revealing two handguns and several rounds of ammunition.
Colbert and Eudora exchanged suppressed glances, then turned their attention back to the box.
Colbert picked up one of the handguns and examined it. "This is a 9.1mm caliber Desert Eagle, commonly known as the 'Desert Eagle.'"
He carefully studied one of the bullets. "Judging from its condition and the fingerprints on the box, I guess this person appeared less than two years ago."
"It must be someone from your household."
Eudora didn't have the knowledge to analyze these things, but judging from the thickness of the dust on the fingerprints, it hadn't been long since someone had been here.
"We need further investigation."
