Chasel saw Alva approaching and squinted his eyes slightly. "Ms. Baldwin, what brings you here?"
A few days ago, Alva faced the media and claimed that the person who kidnapped her was Colbert's enemy. Although it was just a set of words to deal with others, her presence here now naturally indicated that Alva still didn't know the truth.
However, the reality was quite the opposite.
While Alva might not have the ability to cover up the truth, her father, Glenn, had thoroughly investigated the matter and revealed that Rosetta, Chasel's sister, was the mastermind behind it.
At first, Alva didn't believe it. But later, Derek frequently visited her. She indirectly asked him and obtained accurate information from him.
That was when she found out that Rosetta was the one who harmed her!
But Alva was not willing to accept it.
Before this, Rosetta had a close relationship with Eudora. It was highly likely that Eudora manipulated Rosetta to create a rift between her and Alva. Or perhaps Eudora influenced Rosetta to act this way.
Carrying her limited edition Hermès bag, Alva walked up to Chasel. "Mr. Burke, I'm looking for you because I naturally want to discuss a collaboration."
For over half a month, she had not appeared in public. When she reappeared, she had lost a significant amount of weight, and her complexion had worsened. However, beneath the cover of cosmetics, her complexion still appeared healthy.
"Collaboration?"
Chasel leaned against the car and asked with interest, "Ms. Baldwin, I have had no dealings with you. We fundamentally have different values. What kind of collaboration could there be?"
If she could establish a contract with Chasel, it would not only help her deal with Colbert and Eudora but also provide an opportunity for revenge against Rosetta once she gained Chasel's trust!
These days of suffering had made Alva's personality more composed, and she had become more adept at patience.
"How did you know?" Chasel questioned Alva with suspicion.
"The rumors have spread throughout the circle. How could I not know?" Alva sighed, "Mr. Burke, I admire your persistence in love. Just like how I used to be madly in love with Colbert, only to be abandoned by him in the end."
Her approach made Chasel somewhat reluctant.
