Colbert put away his phone, tried his best to calm down, then raised his eyes and asked, "Did you return to the Steele Mansion yesterday?"

Eudora nodded. "You talk about that? I called you yesterday and planned to go with you, but you didn't answer. So I went back by myself."

"How did you go back home?"

"I was drunk, so Chasel sent me back." As she told Colbert what happened yesterday, she didn't mention Derek.

"Did he go to your house?"

"No. We went to the hotel."

"Hotel? So, you two slept in the hotel overnight?"
