Eudora, who heard the words of Kevin and Mildred, remained silent.
"Okay." Colbert thought over and over again, and he finally agreed.
It was abrupt to tell Mildred these things today, and he should have given them some time to adapt. He said, "I'll listen to you."
As he said, he smiled kindly and warmly, "Mrs. Stanford, you can go and do your work. I'll wash the plates."
"Well, all right," Mildred said.
She sized up Colbert and observed his every move, thinking that it was rare to meet such a rich, handsome, considerate, and capable person like him.
Perhaps Eudora should cherish Colbert.
Colbert cleaned the plates and tidied up the kitchen. After a while, the kitchen was cleaned up.
"I didn't expect him to do housework so well..." Mildred thought in her heart.
Trevor went to the kitchen from the living room, and he saw Colbert wearing an apron, holding a rag in his hand, and concentrating on cleaning the kitchen. He sighed, "Good job. I think you might as well leave Sinton Group to Mr. Derek Steele. You can stay in the Stanford family."
"How much did my uncle pay you?" Colbert asked.
He glanced sideways at Trevor with a half smile.
Even though he was doing housework, he couldn't hide his noble temperament in his gestures. When he took off his apron and hung it aside, it was pleasing to the eye.
"This is the life that you want, right?" Trevor said.
He put his hands in his trousers pockets and sighed, "People in love are really crazy. You are a president and haven't done any housework before, but now you are washing plates at your future mother-in-law's house. If it spreads to Kenison City, many women will be jealous of Eudora."
"Shut up," Colbert said.
After washing his hands, he walked out of the kitchen and went to the living room.
