Without giving Shen Shixiu a chance to continue speaking, Shen Feng went upstairs.

Hearing his words, the light in Shu Qing’s eyes dimmed. “It’s been a long time since I’ve heard you call me that.” She then smiled at him. “Come, have a seat.”

Shen Feng nodded. Noticing her pale pallor, he asked, “Are you feeling unwell?”

Shu Qing shook her head. “Since you’ve asked your son to take me here, is there anything you need?”
