Selena pov

Waking up the next morning and feeling hot. Tossing the quilt of me when his arm comes around my waist and pulls me flat against him.

Feeling a mind link trying to reach out to me I pull at it and feel Cannon on the other side trying to contact me.

Opening the link up.

"I think you should get here!" he says right away.

"Alright, I'm coming in a bit!" I tell him and cut the link. Reaching out to Jessie and letting her know I will be going back home. She is quick to pick the link up and wants to come with me.

Turning my head and looking over my shoulder when I'm done mind linking I see Kian looking down at me.

"you need to go!" he says and has already guessed what's going on.

"Yes, Cannon wanted me to come right away!" I say and get out of the bed. Placing my feet down on the cold floor while reaching for my bag and taking out some clothes.

"do you want me to come along with you!" he says and I take a second to think about it.

" it's better if you try and go over as much paper as you can. I will come back and help you when I'm done in my pack!" I say and pull some pants on before changing my shirt when he walks up from behind and wraps his arms around me.

"as long as you come back and don't run off somewhere else again I can let you leave!" he says and turn me around in his arms. He looks sternly at me and a part of me wants to tease with him a bit but I know he won't let me go if I do.

"promise!" I say and get up on my tippy toe and give him a quick peck on his lips.

"no that's not enough!" he says and holds my head in a firm grip before leaning down and giving me a kiss that makes me weak in my knees.

When he let me go I have to catch my breath for a second.

"Now you may go!" he says and drop his hold on me. Turning around I grab my bag and place it to the side. I might as well keep it here, have a feeling it will be good to leave some clothes here.

"let me know if there is anything urgent you find!" I tell him before opening a portal and getting inside.

Walking out on the other side and find Zoey standing outside our prison and waiting for me.

Searching for Jessie I find her and open a portal for her to walk through.

When she comes walking out of the portal I smile wide at the sight. She looks like she has one rough night.

"so you gave into the mate bond and from the look of it you had a nice time!" Zoey says and wiggles her eyebrows at her. I start to laugh at the way Jessie blushes.
