At that time, Selina was about to walk out of her office with some documents in her hand. She wanted to give them to Caroline and print them to send each department a copy, but as soon as she stepped out of her office, she saw that a little boy was there looking at the surroundings. Caroline suddenly covered her mouth in surprise. She stood up from her desk, and asked in a low voice, "Is Cherry the boy's mother?"

Selina cast a brief cold glance at Caroline, which frightened Caroline and made her shut up.

She then turned her focus back to Joe, and carefully asked, "Do you know who your father is?"

Joe looked at Selina, and thought that even if he knew who his dad was, he didn't have to tell her. He even didn't know who she was.

"Who are you?" asked Joe. He didn't answer Selina's question directly.

"I'm your mommy's boss, Selina Lu." She didn't hide anything from him.

"Oh, nice to meet you then, Ms. Selina. Do you know where my mommy is?" Joe thought that he should be careful with his words, since he was speaking with his mother's boss, after all. He thought that maybe she could help him find Cherry.

"Your mommy had something to do today, so she has asked for a day off. I guess she won't be coming here today, " said Selina.

Joe was a little bit surprised by what she said. He thought about it, and said, "What? Didn't my mommy come here to work this morning? How could she have not told me about her day off?"
