Jackson didn't want to lose his temper when he looked at Cherry, so he had no choice but to let her sit with their son.
After they arrived back home, Joe threw his school bag away and went to have fun with the other children of the residential compound.
Cherry and Jackson walked into the living room and saw that Andrew was sitting on the sofa and reading his newspaper. Jackson walked to Andrew, and said, "Hello, Grandpa! We're home!"
Andrew replied, "Oh! Good! Both Cherry and you came back!" He raised his head and glimpsed at Jackson, and then turned to Cherry, who was standing beside him.
"Yes, Grandpa! Jackson and I picked up Joe from the school earlier. Joe is having fun in the yard, " gently said Cherry.
Andrew nodded, and said, "You two go and rest upstairs; Lily will call you when dinner is ready."
"Okay, Grandpa!" Cherry nodded and then walked upstairs with Jackson.
After they entered their bedroom, Jackson held Cherry behind the door the moment he closed it. He then kissed her passionately, because he hadn't been at home for a whole day, and had thought of her the whole time.
After some time, Jackson eventually stopped kissing Cherry and closely looked at her with love sparkling in his eyes.
Cherry wasn't shy anymore in front of Jackson, and as she looked into Jackson's eyes, she said, "Don't do this anymore, okay?"
"I can't help it, Baby. I really missed you, " said Jackson, without laying his eyes off of Cherry for one moment.
Cherry suddenly put her arms around Jackson's neck and nudged his nose with hers. She said, "I'll always be at your side."
"Did you miss me last night?"
Asked Jackson, insisting that Cherry answered him YES.
"No! I had no time to miss you, because Joe was with me, " said Cherry as she smiled.
"You..." The unexpected answer made Jackson be at a lost for words again. He had never guessed that Cherry would mock him in that particular moment.
Cherry then slowly left Jackson's arms and walked towards the bed and sat on it.
Jackson followed and sat beside her.
"Jackson, we've been married for a long time already. Don't you think that it's unnecessary for us to say such sweet words?" said Cherry to Jackson.
Although, acting like a spoiled brat, Jackson continued to say, "If you dare to miss someone else besides me, I'll punish you!"
Cherry immediately said to Andrew, "Grandpa, you don't need to give Joe anything. If he wants any, both Jackson and I can buy it for him."
After Cherry finished her words, Andrew immediately waved his hand, gesturing that Cherry should stop talking.
"No! What you buy Joe is different from what I can give him, although they are still presents." Andrew then turned to Joe, and said, "Tell me, what do you want to have? I'll buy it for you."
"I want the newest game console that was just listed!" After Joe finished his words, he briefly glanced at Cherry, because he was afraid that she might meddle in his affair with his Great-Grandpa.
"A game console? Okay, I'll buy it for you tomorrow!" said Andrew. He kept smiling, because he would not only buy Joe a game console, but also leave all of his property to him.
"Thank you, Great-Grandpa!" happily said Joe, with his eyes filled with joy as he looked at both Jackson and Cherry.
Jackson gently said to his son, "Joe, remember to study hard even when you have your new game console. Don't spend all your time playing on it, okay?"
"Okay, Daddy. Just wait and see when I rank first again next time, " said Joe, still very excited.
"We'll see about that then, " said Cherry. She was a bit worried, because she cared a great deal about Joe's future, and anything that took a toll on it wasn't acceptable under her watchful eyes. When it came to the game console, Cherry believed that Joe might be able to control himself, although recreational activities were predominant in a child's nature.
