"Haha, this brat is worried that you will blame him for what he did last night," Mond told Derek, smiling. He then stretched his arm and invited Lawrence to come and sit beside him.

After Lawrence sat down, Mond put one of his arms onto Lawrence's shoulder, gave him a bright smile and said, "Lawrence, you needn't worry about it at all! Even if your parents are not here, I will take good care of you always. Whoever dares to trouble you will be taught a lesson by me!"

Lawrence took a glimpse at his uncle Mond and grinned?asking, "Uncle, we are one big family! I will praise all of your efforts in front of mother!"

"Don't do that! I fear that your mother will only scold me for misleading you." Speaking of Cherry, Mond was still very scared as he thought that she might not like his friendly behaviour with her kids.

"Then let her say so!" Lawrence showed indifference. He was completely relaxed by now. On his way here, his emotions were high and he had thought that if Uncle Derek tried to teach him a lesson he would just keep quiet. But he didn't expect that all his three uncles would be so nice to him.

"You are still as naughty as when you were young!" Wilson helplessly shook his head, smiling.

"Uncle Wilson, do you know Austin is much naughtier than I am? If you don't believe me, you can just wait and see," said Lawrence.

"Alright! Speaking of my son, I almost forget that he has called me last night and told me that he would be coming back soon," Wilson responded.

"Soon? When? If his soon is 6 months later we will not wait for him. That will be too long!" Derek quipped Wilson.

"I don't know. Let him be! I am afraid that he has learnt nothing but only been having fun all these years abroad," Wilson replied with a resigned sigh. His son was still very immature and how he wished that he could be as outstanding in work as Lawrence was.

"Okay, whatever. Let's get to the point," Mond suggested.

In a moment, Lawrence noticed that three pairs of eyes were staring at him. Feeling perplexed, he asked, "What has happened? Why are you all staring at me like that?"

"See? I told you he looks really like his father! Haha!" Derek took a sip of his tea and continued to say, "But your father was not as dashing as you are now!"

"It's all thanks to Cherry's genes! Do you know how much effort she had to take to look after her precious son?" said Wilson. He still remembered the time when Cherry had to take care of her son all by herself.

"I really love my mother. There is no one like her. She is and will always be No.1 in my heart!" Lawrence said in a serious tone. He also recalled the moment when he was very young and he and his mother were abroad. No matter how stern she used to be to him, he knew it clearly that his mother loved him most. He could never forget the hard time that his mother had to go through and now these were the most precious memories in his heart.

"Fine, since you are such a loyal son, I can hope that you will also be a good husband!" Mond said abruptly.

Before Lawrence could even react, Derek and Wilson laughed out at the remark.
