Abigail went on, "I did the math, after the five million hits our account, after taxes, website maintenance, staff salaries and all that jazz, the three of us should be able to split around a million."

Zack facepalmed, "A million, sounds like just a number, but how many people can't make that much in their whole life."

Cornelia had been hanging around Marcus for so long, business of the Hartley Group were always counted in billions. She thought she'd gone numb to money. But when she heard she could make a million, she couldn't contain her excitement, because this was money they had earned with their own sweat and tears.

Abigail kept talking, "When we get the money, I plan to pay off some of my mortgage. Our mortgage interest is so high, we've been paying for so long and barely touched the principal, it hurts just thinking about it."

Zack said, "That's my plan too. Nelly, what about you?"

Cornelia replied, "I plan to pay off some of my mortgage as well."

Cornelia wasn't exactly strapped for cash. Not only she had assets from Granny Luisa, but also from Grandpa Augustine. She had no clue how to manage these assets, so she had a financial advisor handle it for her. The money earned was all deposited in a special account, and she didn't spend a dime. She wanted to prove her worth with her own hard work.

Abigail said, "Nelly, you're living in the Celestial Chateau now, hardly come back to Lakeview Estates, and it's hard for us to see you. Can you come back and stay tonight?"

Cornelia hadn't seen Zack and Abigail for quite a while, she missed them, but she turned down the invitation to return to Lakeview Estates tonight.

"President Hartley has been away from home for a few days, he's finally back today, I want to stay with him." Cornelia said.
