Rosie messaged Cornelia again. [Did your hubby help you out?] 

Cornelia replied [Yes] 

Rosie asked. [So, he helped you because you kissed him in public?] 

Cornelia answered [No, he didn’t ask for it. I kissed him because I was overwhelmed I hope you guys stop making fun of me I 

Rosie said [Look at you blushing like a teenager You’re still green Once you’ve been around the block a few times, you won’t be so easily fustered) 

Cornelia quickly touched her face, it was indeed hot. 

Zavier, not only without his wife by his side but also losing at the poker table, was in a sour mood. He said to Marc, “Enjoy the good times while you can. You might end up like me wileless and lost”

This year marked the 50th anniversary of Riverton. There had been light shows every weekend recently, up until the anniversary celebration on July 28th. 

Over the past few weekends, the best hotels and restaurants in Riverton’s most scenic area had been booked solid Everyone wanted the best spot to watch the light show. The glasshouse on the rooftop of the club where Cornelia and her friends were, offered the best view of the light show in all of Riverton. But, few people could afford to be there and most had little interest in the light show. So, apart from Cornelia and her friends and the staff, there was nobody else in the glasshouse It was almost like a private light show for them. 

As soon as they climbed up, Steven immediately perked up. “This is a better view of the light show than I expected. It’s also a great place for couples” 

Hannah, who initially was the most excited about the light show, seemed uninterested now, following Steven around like a lost puppy. She tried to talk to Cornelia a few times but was stopped by Steven.. 

Lucas wasn’t particularly interested at first. But seeing his wife so excited, he found the light show rather enjoyable. 

Zavier lit a cigarette and sat in a corner, his eyes focused on something, lost in his thoughts. 

Cornelia, as usual, couldn’t resist taking photos of the beautiful scene. She took a video of the light show and immediately shared it in the group chat ‘Fam Squad“. “Fam Squad” was a kind of group chat she had always wanted to join. Such groups were common among her colleagues. Zack and Abigail had one, but she didn’t because she only had her grandma left in her family. 

Yesterday, Granny Luisa created a group chat and invited all the family members. She named it “We are family” Cornelia was over the moon when she saw the group name. The group had six members, including the two grannies and Patricia, Marcus and Briana, and lastly, Cornelia.
