Chapter 841
Then, a woman in nothing but a slip dress appeared on the big screen. Due to the angle of the camera, the woman’s face didn’t show up on the screen, only parts below her collarbone were visible. Just as everyone wanted to see what the woman looked like, the screen suddenly went black
Colleague A asked in surprise, ‘Is that President Hartley’s wife?”
Colleague D replied, “Who else could it be if not President Hartley’s wife? Would he bring other women home?
Colleague A said, “His wife really has a great body! No wonder he likes her.”
Colleague B said, “Her voice is also very gentle. It’s soothing to listen to.”
Colleague C said, “He really cares about her, and he turned off the camera before we could see her face.”
Upon hearing everyone’s comments. Ben slowly said. “You guys are just casually chatting about President Hartley’s wife in front of me like I’m not here?”
The colleagues asked, “Aren’t you curious about President Hartley’s wife?”
Ben answered, “I’ve met his wife, I don’t have anything to be curious about”
The colleagues asked curiously, “You’ve met his wife? Can you tell us what she looks like? Does her appearance match her voice?”
Ben replied, “If you guys are eager to know, you can ask President Hartley yourselves.”
The colleagues said, “You’re such a buzzkill!”
If they dared to ask President Hartley, they wouldn’t have asked Ben.
Cornelia thought Marcus had gone to work, so she changed into a slip dress. She had walked into the living room when she realized Marcus was still there.

Marcus replied, “No.” He looked up at her; though there was some distance between them, he could already see the marks on her collarbone. Those were bruises he had unintentionally left last night, very noticeable.
He immediately got up, took some anti–swelling ointment from the medicine box, and said, “Come here.”
Cornelia obediently walked towards him, and when she got close, he pulled her into his lap. He squeezed the ointment onto her bruises one by one, then rubbed it gently with his fingers. She had many bruises, some even in private areas, but he didn’t miss a single one. He applied the medicine attentively and seriously, without any stray thoughts
Watching his gentle actions, Cornelia felt warmth filling her heart, and tears unexpectedly welled up in her eyes.
Marcus noticed her strange reaction, and asked urgently, “Does it still hurt?”
Cornelia shook her head, but she couldn’t control her emotions, and buried her head in his chest. Her sudden move made Marcus stop what he was doing. “What’s wrong?*
