The murmur of “Cornelia” had Cornelia’s heart pounding madly, “Natalia, it’s me, don’t be scared. You’re safe now, and no one can harm you anymore? 

Natalia didn’t reply to Cornelia, but subconsciously held onto Cornelia’s hand tightly, as if it was her lifeline. Cornelia held Natalia’s hand back, and kept calling her name in her ear, hoping to make her feel safe. 

Marcus was quietly watching from the side, not interrupting them, even telling the driver to start the car in a hushed voice. 

After the car left the airport parking lot, Marcus spoke to Cornelia, “Cornelia, we’ll take her home first. Have Dr. Lester check her out.” 

Cornelia nodded, “I want to do a DNA test for Natalia and my grandmother. If she’s part of the Stewart family, her DNA should match my grandmother’s.” 

Marcus said, “Alright, I’ll arrange it.” 

Cornelia paused, then said. “There are many items my grandmother used in the Hartley Mansion, I think we should be able to extract some useful DNA samples.” 

“Hmm.” Marcus gently ruffled Cornelia’s hair, “Cornelia, do you have any idea how much I admire you?” 

He, the CEO of the Hartley Group, actually admiring her! Cornelia was clearly ecstatic, her eyes shining brightly like two top–grade gems, “What do you admire about me?” 

Marcus looked at Cornelia, his eyes full of affection and admiration, “You’re smart and calm, always able to pinpoint the key issues no matter the 

situation.” 

Cornelia had climbed her way to the position of the CEO’s special assistant of the Hartley Group with her own abilities. Her capabilities were indeed not to be overlooked. But having lost her parents at a young age and often being subject to criticism, she wasn’t very confident inside. Now that Marcus was praising her, she was happy, but also a bit unsure, “Am I really as good as you say?” 

“You’re even better than what I said Marcus gently caressed her face, “You’re the best person in my eyes.” 

He had praised her more than once as the best person in his eyes. Having been praised so many times, Cornelia’s confidence increased a bit, “So are you” 

Marcus asked, “What do you mean by ‘so are you?” 

Cornelia said, “In my eyes, you’re also the best person, and no one can compare to you.” 

Marcus chuckled, “Do you really think so? Or are you just trying to flatter me?” 

Cornelia said, “Both!” 

“You little sneak!” Marcus gently flicked her forehead and continued, “I have a villa that’s empty at the moment. I wasn’t planning on living there. We can let her stay there.” 

Cornelia said, “Given Natalia’s current situation, it’s not advisable for her to be alone. I don’t want to bother you anymore. I’ll take her to my new house.”
