When Grace returned to the office, she handed over all the relatively unimportant projects to

When night fell, the top floor Amirate Corporation’s office was still brightly lit.

Xander came up to the top floor office with an armful of materials. He could see Grace through the window. She was so absorbed in her work that she was in her own world. Xander’s gaze

softened.

He knocked on the door, then pushed it open and entered.

The moment he walked in, he saw designs scattered all across the floor. Xander bent down and picked them up one by one.

Grace was chewing on the end of her pencil, her face scrunched up in a frown.

When she saw Xander, all her defenses came crashing down at once.

“What should I do, Xander? I haven’t got any ideas and can’t draw anything!”

Xander picked up all the designs, arranged them, and then walked toward her. “If you can’t draw anything, then rest for a while. Don’t push yourself too much.”

Grace pressed her l*ps together.

“But one day has already gone by. I only have two days left.”

Xander reached out and patted her on the head. Then, he grabbed the pencil she was holding

and took her hand.

“Rest for a while. Come out and take a walk with me.”

Grace was surprised. “What? Where are we going?”

Xander looked mysterious as he pulled her outside. Grace hurried to keep up with him.

The two of them got in the elevator and went down to the basement.

Xander stuffed her into the passenger seat of the car. Grace was still confused. “Xander, where are you taking me?”

The car wove through the city and finally came to a quaint–looking street.

Grace locked around and was startled.
