Hansen called first thing in the morning. Seraphina picked up, “Hansen, happy birthday!” 

He chuckled and said, “I waited so long for your call, but it never came, so I couldn’t help but give you a call. 

Seraphina scoffed. ‘Do you think I won’t beat you because it’s your birthday tomorrow?” 

She put him on speakerphone and applied a delicate layer of makeup. She chose a stunning gown, one of Sarah’s designs, that was luxurious and elegant, making her look nothing short of spectacular. 

With a pair of high heels, her presence instantly became commanding, and she exuded an air of grace and nobility. 

“My queen, what did you give me? I’ve been thinking about it all night. Hansen asked eagerly. 

The gift he most looked forward to was the one from Seraphina. 

“What do you need?” she asked. 

“I need a girlfriend, Hansen replied boldly, making his intention clear. 

“I’ve decided to pursue you officially!” 

He declared. 

I disagree, Seraphina responded, her voice laced with cold amusement. 

“My decision is unilateral; there is no need for your agreement. My love flows through my veins like the blood in my body…
