The pirates, who had initially been relaxed and arrogant, suddenly grew tense. 

Seraphina smirked. They weren’t helpless, and these pirates weren’t invincible. 

Kaveh was stunned by what was happening. He quickly positioned himself next to Seraphina, helping her pin down the man on the ground.
