Wilson gave an apologetic smile and walked over to close the door, blocking her view.

Seraphina’s face turned pale. “That’s not much of a surprise.” 

She was just grateful her young and healthy body hadn’t given her a heart attack. 

Wilson is feeling deeply sorry. He walked over and gently hugged her, then released her and pulled her toward the living room. 

“Elliot, get me a glass of warm water.” 

It seemed like Seraphina was genuinely frightened. 

If he had known this would happen, he would have never brought her to see it, no matter what! 

A cylindrical, white robot about 5 feet tall appeared and handed the water to Seraphina.

“Sorry, I wasn’t fully prepared. I shouldn’t have invited you in. The robot’s system needs to record special friends in order to respond more quickly, particularly when it is recognizing information. Well, I may have said too much.” 

He had forgotten that when he keyed in the information, he had absentmindedly introduced Seraphina.

The robot’s response couldn’t be a lie. It honestly reflected what it had been programmed to Seraphina.

Wilson shook his head decisively. 

“Don’t worry, I’ve already spoken to him. Not everyone shares his interests. If you don’t like it, I’ll temporarily have it handled by a professional animal management organization. 

After all, he didn’t want to keep a man–eating crocodile in his house. 

Seraphina nodded repeatedly. That was good. She simply couldn’t handle it.
