The next morning I'm glad to tell you I was awaken by the birds singing.
So for the first time in a year, probably, I woke up with a grin.
I sat up and yawned as I looked around.
Lou and Oliver were both missing, but the rest still seemed to be asleep.
I got up and took my crutches.
I slowly made my way out of the tent, I was careful not to step in someone's face.
The sky was completely free from clouds and the sun stood pretty high.
I was extremely hungry so I walked to the truck where all out stuff was loaded and saw that someone had put a few chairs and a table with food to take.
Around one of these tables I saw two familiar faces and I walked over to them.
"Hiiii!" I cheered and sat down next to Oliver.
"Good morning" He greeted me in the same joyful tone and I got a smile from Lou.
"The weather is amazing, it's hard to believe we're in England" I said once I'd made myself a sandwich and grabbed a glass of water.
"I know really!" Oliver agreed and I took a bite of my sandwich.
The bread was a little bit dry and the butter had melted, but it was better than nothing. At least I had cheese on it.
"I talked to Sandra earlier and she sad that we were free to do whatever we wanted as long as we stuck together and had weapons with us" Lou told us, looking around for activities.
"Maybe we can look around the airport?" Oliver suggested and I nodded.
"Sounds good, I'm pretty handicapped so I can't really do anything physical" I looked down at my poor leg, it was still in its cast and It would be stuck with it for another 2-3 weeks.
"Why aren't we sleeping inside the airport?" I then asked as the thought hit me.
Oliver and Lou both shared a look and then shrugged.
I sighed and we kept walking towards the big building.
The airport looked like any other airport really and I'd visited it more than once earlier when we'd traveled.
I remembered that this Airport had both a Victoria Secret store and a praline shop and I got really excited.
When we got to the second floor where all shops where I got lunatic and ran - tried to at least- all over the place.
I squealed when I got inside the Victoria secret shop and quickly made my way to the bras.
When I found a few in my size, I grabbed them quickly and ran into the dressing room.
One light pink laze bra in particular, really fit well and looked hella fine on me.
I then walked out of the store with a grin, happy that I didn't have to pay and kept walking to a cloth store.
I decided to give myself a makeover and grabbed a pair of jean shorts and a cute blouse.
Lou and Oliver had seen a candy shop and since then I hadn't seen them.
After I had visited the small shoe shop and grabbed myself a pair of comfortable, but pretty fash sneakers I was pleased and decided to find the boys again. Well I say a pair of sneakers, but I could only wear one, since my other foot was covered in gym pain and bandages.
I headed towards the candy store and when I heard noises I grinned.
"OLLIEEEEEE AND LOUUU" I yelled in a sing-song tone.
"We're here!" Oliver answered and I fastened my speed as much as I could with the crutches.
I walked into the candy store and started to laugh when I saw the two boys on the floor, their knees filled with sweets.
Lou was currently munching on a chocolate bar and Oliver had opened a box of chocolates and was picking out all the ones with white chocolate.
They both looked up at me with wide eyes when they heard me laugh and then grinned a boyish smile.
I saw Lou's eyes traveling down my body and I raised my brow.
"A picture would last longer" I cocked an eyebrow and he smirked.
"I don't have a phone nor a camera so... Staring will be have to do" he cockily replied and I rolled my eyes.
"Chocolate?" Oliver offered, handing me me a snickers.
•••
We stayed in the candy store for a while, just eating and talking.
And when we decided to go, my stomach was hurting from to much sweets.
"I should've stopped after that bar" I groaned, holding a hand over my stomach.
"I shouldn't have eaten anything at all" Lou muttered and we both groaned.
We looked over at Oliver, he was still eating and didn't seem bothered at all.
"Wanna taste this fudge? It's delicious! You can feel both the raspberry AND the licorice, you should-" He started, handing me the piece of fudge, but just by looking at it I felt my stomach turn and just like that; I emptied my stomach over his feet.
"Oh my god, it's all over my shoes" Oliver cried out and I flipped him off.
"Are you alright" Lou asked with a frown and I gave him a thumbs up.
"I'll go get some new shoes" Oliver sighed, running back towards the airport.
"Oh f*ck" I cussed as I emptied the rest of the contents in my stomach over the ground.
"I'm never going to eat again" I promised and slowly made my way back to our tent.
Lou rested a hand on the small on my back and when I looked up at him, he would give me encouraging smiles.
"Pretty lady looks pretty dead" I hear someone snicker and I clenched my fists as I turned around.
I felt Lou's hand tense on my back and I glanced up at him. He clenched his jaw and glared at the person speaking.
Tate.
"Can't you just go and... I don't know, die?" I suggested, furrowing my brow.
"And join you? I'd love to, but I have to take care of a camp"
I flipped him off and started to walk away.
"It's not like you can outrun me!" He yelled and I stopped straight in my tracks.
"Did you just quote Twilight?"
