"Are you trying to goad me?" Jaydon put down the spoon and took out a handkerchief to wipe his mouth.
"It's none of your business. Anyway, I'm going to join them now. Just stay here if you're afraid." Alita smiled provocatively and stood up to walk out.
She silently counted the seconds in her heart.
"Wait for me." Jaydon's voice sounded behind her. She secretly snickered. She knew that he would definitely follow her before she counted to three.
She retracted her smile and deliberately turned around with a stern face. "Jaydon, have you decided to go with me? I might take the opportunity to mess with you. You're doomed. It's not too late to change your mind."
Jaydon grabbed her head and kissed her hard on the mouth. "Alita, don't pretend to be obedient after taking advantage of me. Didn't you say you were going to farm? Then go. I want to show you that I'm an all-rounded genius. Nothing can be a problem for me."
"I think you're more like an all-rounded megalomaniac," Alita said as she wiped her lips with the back of her hand. Then, she turned around and quickly followed the two villagers.
"You don't believe me? Then you'll know what I can do later. Don't worship me too much," said Jaydon. He didn't think it was that hard.
"Is that so? Then I'll wait and see." Alita blinked and smiled innocently.
Jaydon looked at her face and could not help but feel uncertain. However, the reason why he went to do it despite knowing there might be trouble was because whether he would be tricked by this woman or not, this was a new beginning for them. He wanted to hoard more memories for each other. In those memories, she would smile brightly.
They followed two villagers, a man and a woman. They were middle-aged and looked like a married couple. They communicated with them in the local language.
"Hello!" Alita gave a friendly smile.
The middle-aged man and woman also smiled and greeted Alita and Jaydon, "Hello!"
"My name is Alita. His name is Jaydon. We came here from another country to have fun. Sir and Madam, what are your names?" Alita tried to get close to them.
The man in the camel-colored suit said, "My name is John, and this is my wife. Her name is Lucia."
Alita said, "Okay. John, Lucia, may I just call you by your name then?"
"Yes, no problem." Lucia smiled very kindly.
"Are you guys going to grow crops? Can we go together? My..." Alita looked at Jaydon and could not find the words to describe their relationship. In the end, she could only smile and try to muddle through. "My friend wants to experience it."
Jaydon's handsome face darkened when he heard her words as he wondered, 'My friend?'
"Sure!" John agreed readily.
Lucia looked surprised. "Are you just friends? I thought you were a couple because you were wearing matching outfits."
Jaydon smiled and said, "Actually, we're husband and wife. We're here on vacation, but my wife always likes to spend time with me like we're friends, so sometimes she's a little..." He pointed to his head, meaning that sometimes she would be confused.
"I see." Lucia nodded in understanding. Now that she had a closer look at Jaydon, she was stunned. "Young man, you're so handsome."
"Thank you! Many people say so," Jaydon replied directly without any modesty.
Alita covered her mouth and looked like she was about to throw up.
Many people said so. He just had no shame.
"My dear wife, you're not allowed to make such jokes in the future. Look, others have misunderstood our relationship. You have to know that the most unlikely relationship between us is friendship, understand?" Jaydon walked to her side and hugged her. He smiled at her gently and brightly.
Alita turned her head and glared at him. However, she did not want to argue with him in front of others and leave a bad impression on others.
John and Lucia smiled happily. The young couple seemed to have a good relationship.
With John and Lucia leading the way, they came to a clearing.
When Jaydon felt the soil in his expensive sneakers, he furrowed his brows. He hated being dirty.
However, Alita squatted down and took a deep breath in satisfaction, revealing a look of enjoyment.
He asked in confusion, "Is this mud fragrant?" In his opinion, it was dark and dirty. Not to mention smelling it, just looking at it made him feel disgusted.
"That's right. If you don't believe me, you can squat down and smell it too. The fragrance of nature wafts over. It's really great." Alita put on an intoxicated expression and waved at him. "Come, try to smell it too."
Jaydon narrowed his green eyes warily. "Are you serious? I think you're fooling me."
"I am serious. You can only smell it if you squat down." She reached out and pulled his hand.
Even though Jaydon did not believe it, he still squatted down.
"Do you smell it?" Alita asked as she quietly reached behind his back to grab the mud.
Jaydon took a sniff and frowned. "Can I say no?" He knew that she was lying to him.
"I think your nose is malfunctioning. A little local medicine might be able to cure it," Alita said. Before Jaydon could come back to his senses, she wiped the mud on his nose with lightning speed.
