Kill Me, Heal Me novel Chapter 6

There was a strange silence in the office. The man, taking responsibility of recruitment, raised his head and looked at her up and down. He frowned and couldn't hide his disgust: "you still wear long sleeves clothes in such a hot weather?"

The brown linen clothes on her was big and old, just like the bag. What was more, it was the long sleeved clothes with high collar. A half of her face was behind the collar.

Belle was calm: "I'm a little afraid of the cold."

"You must be crazy!"

The man ridiculed mercilessly, without any concern for her mood.

Belle didn't care. She has been used to this kind of bad humiliation or satire in the past five years. She was not anger at all.

"Yes, I think I am crazy, too."

The person glanced at her in disgust but he didn't satirize her. He just ordered her to submit the information one by one. Because the job Belle applied for was the lowest and inferior job in the whole "underground entertainment club", the procedure was not complicated.

"Your name is Belle Ye?" Hearing her name, this man frowned. In his impression, he felt that the name was familiar to him, but he couldn't remember where he had heard it.

Anyway, he may have heard of someone with the same name.

"Your name doesn't go with you." He sneered. A girl who can have this name, was the apple in the eye of her family generally. But the ugly woman in front of him, looked young, but she was like an 80 year old woman.

She was dirty and thin and had a rough and ugly face. All of a sudden, he regretted that he had recruited this woman for fear that she would scare the customers.

"Miss Ye, we can't recruit you."He said, "Your image doesn't match our store's."

"Underground entertainment club" was one of the top entertainment clubs in Gang City. The guests here were either rich or powerful. Not to mention the waiters, even the cleaners were good-looking. Belle looked young, but even the beggars in the street were beautiful than her.

"Please, I'll do my best. I'm sure I won't scare the guests."

Belle knew what he was worried about after thinking for a while. He calmed down and walked forward, bowing deeply: "please give me a chance. I will do the dirtiest, the hardest and the most tiring work."

What should she do if she lost this job?

There was a little money in her pockets. She can't even live for one night. She was a prisoner and came out from that kind of place. Nobody dared to hire her.

The man was a little surprised: "Are you willing to do anything?"

Belle nodded: "Yes. "

She wanted to live, save money, find her child, go to Chongming Island, and revenge...No, no, as for the last one, she can't think of it.

She just wanted to live.

The man stood up, and said: "you can not be able to fix the feet of the guests. Well, we need a cleaner in the restroom. Guest often vomit in the restroom. Comparing with other places, it is more dirty. The cleaners are all unwilling to clean the restroom. You will be responsible for cleaning the restroom in the "underground entertainment club".

Belle nodded happily, "no problem!"

"Remember to put on the mask and hat. Don't scare the guests."

"OK."

As long as There was a place to stay.

Otherwise, in this world, she really had nowhere to go.

After getting the work clothes and dormitory key, Belle sent the black package on her hand to the dormitory carefully. She placed it on the inside side of the pillow preciously. In the package, one corner of the black box was exposed.

Her eyes were soft. "Ryan, I've got a job."

Facing the outsiders, she would always be numb and have no expression or anger, just like a wooden stake.

Only facing Ryan, she was a woman again.

"If you know I'm back in Gang City, will you blame me and call me stupid?"

"Ryan, If I can, I really want to go to hell with those people who have hurt us."

"Don't worry, I'll never do anything stupid again. I'll live well, look for my child, and then take it to see you."
