Chapter 398: A Love Story
“And you are?”
A woman’s voice.
Calliope frowned and turned.
At this turn, her brow tightened, suddenly alert, “Who are you?”
Immediately, I looked at Bella on the bed, and then passed as fast as I could.
When Calliope came to Bella’s bed, she said, “Don’t get me wrong, I’m the nurse who’s taking care of this patient.”
“He pointed to his caregiver’s clothes.
Calliope looked at the clothes on the woman, the pale blue suit, similar to a nurse’s dress, but different.
Well, she never called a caregiver.
Calliope looked at the woman with a frown, his mind crossed a person very quickly, and his heart was tight, saying: “Who let you come?”
“A Sir.”
“What’s it called?”
The nurse frowned. “I don’t know, but I came as soon as I got the call.”
Phone call?
“Who called you?”
“Mr. Colt.”
“Mr. Colt?”
Not Uriah?
The nurse saw Calliope still do not believe, quickly took out the mobile phone, York to call her phone number to Calliope see, “is this phone, you can call to see.”
Calliope took the phone, looked at the number, and called right away.
She needs to know who.
Soon, York’s voice came.
At the sound, Calliope’s wary heart relaxed.
“York.”
Hearing her voice, York paused, and then said: “Calliope.”
“It’s me, I want to ask, was it you who called the nurse?”
“Yes.”
“Did Boss Irwin tell you to scream?”
“That’s right.”
“Yes, thank you.”
Hung up and handed the phone to the caregiver.
“I’m the bed patient’s agent. I’m here for the time being. You can buy something now.”
“All right.”
The nurse leaves.
Calliope thought of something and asked, “Was there anyone in this. ward when you came?”
“Someone.” The nurse didn’t even think about it.
Calliope clenched his hand, “Is it someone who is tall, handsome, cold, and looks scary?”
“Yes, yes, yes!
‘When did he leave?
The nurse thought for a moment and said, “When I came, it was after nine o’clock in the evening, before ten o ‘clock, and I forgot the exact time, and then after I came, he left.”
It’s so weird.
Calliope’s face was ugly, but he didn’t give up. “He didn’t say anything.”
“No.”
Not a word.
Calliope looked at Bella in bed and said, “You go shopping.”
“Oh, good.”
The nurse leaves.
Calliope looked at Bella’s pale face and felt inexpressible pain.
He left before ten o ‘clock, something Uriah would never have done.
Why?
Are you sure you don’t love Bella anymore?
“Hiss…”
Suddenly, Calliope looked back at Bella.
Bella frowned and opened her eyes.
Seeing her awake, Calliope immediately asked, “Bella, how’s it going? Are you better?”
She fainted suddenly and was taken to hospital, where it was found to be pneumonia.
It freaked her out.
She hasn’t been sick like this in a long time.
Bella saw her, frowned, and looked around. “Where am I?”
Her mind wasn’t clear enough to remember that she had fainted.
Calliope saw her like this, distressed to say: “You fainted, you forget?”
She just finished the work in Milan, went back to design his wedding dress, took the design draft, people fell to the ground.
Bella stopped talking.
She remembered.
She did faint.
Her body’s not holding up.
Just…
Bella looked at Calliope. “Does he know I fainted?”
She caught a cold a few days ago.
But she never paid attention.
One was that she was busy, and one was that she wanted to see how sick she was and Uriah was coming to see her.
Calliope could not bear the look of anticipation in Bella’s eyes.
She didn’t want to tell her Uriah was here.
But she had to say it.
“I called Uriah yesterday after you collapsed and were taken to the hospital and stabilized.”
Bella clenched her hands on the quilt.
“And then what?
“Uriah didn’t answer.”
The light in Bella’s eyes was dim.
Calliope continued: “I messaged him and he came.”
The dim light suddenly brightened. “Uriah is really here?”
Bella looked around. “He… Where is he?”
Then sit up.
But she was still dizzy and weak, and fell back into bed before she could sit up.
Calliope held her down. “Bella, just hear me out.”
Bella looked at her. “You speak and I listen.”
