Chapter 403: She had an idea in mind 

Alva and Jackson return home. 

As soon as she got home, she saw the suitcase packed in the living 

room. 

Alva startled, “Are you going on a business trip?” 

“Well, Sydney first thing tomorrow morning.” 

Alva broke down laughing. 

He’s always this sudden. 

“Why didn’t you tell me?” 

She packed his bags ahead of time. 

That’s what she’s supposed to do as a wife. 

Jackson looked at her. “What did I tell you in advance?” 

Distract her? 

He won’t. 

Alva knew what Jackson was thinking and said, “You can’t stop me from doing these things because of my job. As your wife, even though I’m busy, there’s still time to help you pack.” 

Alva looked very serious. 

She can do these things. 

Jackson saw the seriousness in his eyes, his heart moved slightly, and a warm current flowed out. 

“Good,” said Hermione. 

But, “Alva.” 

“Huh?” 

“I’m not here with you, if anything happens, you must tell me, okay?” 

Jackson looked at Alva with deep eyes. 

He didn’t want to leave her, but he couldn’t be around her every day, pushing her every day. 

He has to get away from time to time. 

But when he left her, he was afraid Uriah was going to her. 

Worried that Uriah was doing something to her and he didn’t know 

about it. 

Alva did not know that Jackson had known about Uriah’s presence in Paris a few days earlier, but she assumed that Jackson was worried about her and smiled and said, “Okay, don’t worry.” 

If something really happened to her, especially if she couldn’t solve it herself, she would tell him. 

Jackson watched Alva laugh. 

She reassured him, but he wasn’t reassured at all. 

Jackson’s flight is 9:20 in the morning. 

Alva couldn’t drop him off, but Jackson dropped her off, dropped her off at work, and watched her enter AK before heading to the airport. 

Alva arrived at the company and began to work as usual. 

GA arrived at the company at the same time as usual. 

But Venus is not. 

She arrived at work at 8:40. 

Not late, but not early. 

Alva sees Venus coming and immediately asks, “Venus, are you OK?” 

She sent her a message yesterday, telling her to take time off if she wasn’t feeling well, that work was okay. 

But Venus didn’t answer her. 

She’s always been a little worried. 

Venus comes over and looks at Alva. “Alva, I’m sorry, I have to quit.” 

The word resignation made Alva tremble. 

“Quit?” 

“You’re quitting?” 

Alva frowned at Venus, confused, confused. 

She quit out of the blue, at the same time. 

Why? 

Venus looks down. “I have a family emergency to deal with. I have to go back to the States and I can’t help it.” 

“Alva, I’m sorry.” 

Venus didn’t dare look up at Alva as if she were really sorry. 

Alva tightened her eyebrows and said. “Is it urgent? Do you need my help? I’ll help you if you need me!” 

She must have had to resign at this point. 

And she was not herself yesterday. 

Alva understands. 

But she wanted Venus to have something to tell her and not have to do 

it alone 

Venus clenched her hand when she heard Alva’s words. 

“No help, thank you Alva.” 

Venus looks up at Alva, her eyes full of guilt. “Alva, I’m really sorry I can’t help you at this time.” 

Seeing the guilt in her eyes. Alva shook her head. “Nothing, you have something to deal with I understand. but really want to resign?” Isn’t it okay to ask for leave?” 

Working at AK is promising and she believes Venus will not be easy to get into AK. 

Is she really giving up? 

Venus frowned and her eyes hesitated, but soon the hesitation turned to firm. “Alva, I can’t help it. I have to resign.” 

Felix in Reese. Reese. Good momentum, she goes with him, she can take fewer detours. 

Why not? 

AK has her idols and her goals, but in the end it’s all about money. 

If she can make money faster, why doesn’t she choose Reese..?
