Maggie was momentarily stunned. “Why are you acting weird?*

Nathael helped her put on the bracelet. “You can’t escape from me anymore.”

Maggie bit her lip and looked at the bracelet shyly. She felt as if they were exchanging rings.

However, she was happy to see them wearing matching bracelets.

“Meanie,” Maggie said softly.

They continued walking with their hands intertwined. Maggie blushed when she saw their bracelets touching each other.

“By the way, do you know the designer, Ash Abbey?” Maggie asked suddenly when she spotted a necklace with a similar style.

In her past life, Ash was one of the top three designers hired by the Camerons.

However, this famous jewellery designer seemed to have a close connection with Nathael. Maggie used Nathael’s connections to help the Camerons get Ash on their side.

Nathael played with her fingers and said, “He won’t sign with the Camerons.”

Maggie smiled.

It was easy

to talk to someone smart. Nathael knew what she meant with a few words.

The designers the Camerons were attempting to recruit now would be different. She still planned to stir up trouble for the Camerons.

When she was thinking about something, she noticed Nathael stopped in his tracks.

“What’s wrong?”

“The conditions offered by the Camerons are enticing enough to tempt Ash,” Nathael said.

Maggie hadn’t expected him to say this..

Nathael continued, “Ash has always wanted to enter Heplait’s market.”

Maggie nodded in agreement.

“It won’t be easy to convince him to reject the Camerons. Nathael was weighing the pros and cons with Maggie.

After listening for a while, Maggie finally couldn’t resist asking. “So?”

Nathael looked into her eyes. “So, how are you going to reward me?”

Maggie was surprised that he was so close to her.

Maggie stared at him blankly. He was talking for so long just to ask for a reward?

“You’re so childish!”

Maggie complained while smiling. She thought that he had something serious to share.

“Yup.” Nathael didn’t argue with her. He wanted her to give him some sweetness.

When Maggic looked at him, she realised that he was still patiently waiting for her. He wasn’t going to give up until he got his reward.

Maggie was lost in his eyes, and she couldn’t bring herself to refuse him.

After pondering about it, she took out a candy from her bag and placed it in his hand.”

A candy was resting in Nathael’s palm. The refraction of the lights made the candy wrapped in glass paper look beautiful

Nathael unwrapped the candy and popped it into his mouth.

His cheek was puffy due to the candy in the mouth, and he looked quite adorable.

Maggie tilted her head and asked, “Is it sweet?”

Yeah,” he said, looking at her with satisfaction.

“Do you like candies that much?”

Just then, Nathael reached out and gently cupped the back of her head, leaning in to kiss her.

He pushed the candy into Maggie’s mouth.

Maggie was stunned, her eyes widening in surprise.
