He averted his gaze and looked into the distance. Kevin’s garden was upkept. There were vibrant flowers and plants on one side, and fruits and vegetables on the other.

The fence blended with the neighbourhood’s scenery, it looked aesthetically pleasing.

Leo’s gaze was chilly.

No one knew what he was thinking.

“I wouldn’t fight for her if she liked you.”

Leo paused and looked at Nathael once again. “But, are you worthy of her?”

Nathael asked him instead of answering his question. “How do you determine that?”

Leo remained silent. No one could determine if Nathael was worthy of Maggie as love was unpredictable.

Leo had witnessed multiple sides of human since childhood.

Yet, he hoped that Maggie could have a smooth life ahead.

“Perhaps worthiness should not be judged by words, but actions,” Nathael said calmly.
