Chapter 36 Can You Do Something Normal?

In the hotel suite, Nathael sat at his desk, deep in thought, as he stared at the hung–up phone.

After shutting down her computer, Maggie climbed into bed with her phone and made a video call back to Nathael. Yes, it was more expensive than a regular call, but she didn’t mind.

Nathael was momentarily stunned when he saw the incoming video call, but he quickly answered it.

“Are you looking for me?” Maggie asked, leaning against the head of the bed. Her voice was soft and filled. with excitement.

On the camera, the desk lamp in the hotel was on, and Nathael was still wearing a suit, as if he had just returned to the hotel.

“The dress is beautiful,” Nathael said, slowly removing his suit and loosening his tic.
