Chapter 72 Amazing Means.
“Who? Which Mr. Caleb?” Ronald asked with a frown and broke the silence after he had said nothing for a moment.
“Leo Caleb, Mr. Caleb, the servant repeated cautiously.
“What is he here for?” Ronald was annoyed. The Herschire Cultural Park project had caused significant losses for the Camerons but also upset everyone present.
Sierra’s face turned pale when she heard Leo’s arrival. Her fingers tightly curled, her throat tight, obviously shocked and fearful.
This Leo!
A mere 750 thousand is worth it for him to come to my house! No wonder he’s a lowly illegitimate child who can’t show his face in publict
Maggie’s gaze was clear, and she spoke inadvertently as if reminding her, “I heard he wants something settled.
Madam Cameron spoke coldly, “Settled? When did the Camerons have any dealings with him? They are the ones that owe us due to the Herschire Cultural Park project. After all, for an elder, there was nothing more unpleasant than the family’s future being hindered.
“Send him in.” Master Cameron said in a deep voice.
Before long, Leo visited with the accompaniment of a lawyer. Today, he donned a silver–gray suit.
“Mr. Caleb, what brings you here?” Master Cameron spoke in a deep voice. He seemed polite on the surface, but he was carefully assessing the man in front of him when he spoke.
Leo’s gentle demeanor and elegant gestures made him appear as a noble son from a prestigious family
from afar.
Upon closer inspection, it seemed not entirely so.
His eyes, though gentle, were too aloof. He wore a cold demeanor that seemed to look down on everything. His gaze was devoid of any warmth, as if nothing mattered to him.
In addition, there was a hint of dissoluteness and rascality in his demeanor. He was different from the typical child from a rich family, and he exuded a cunningness that made him seem unpredictable and hard to read.
“Nothing much; I’m here to collect a debt, Leo said with a smile as he handed the contract to Master Cameron.
Master Cameron looked at the contents of the contract. His face turned pale as he quickly flipped through the pages.
“3 million? Mr. Caleb must be mistaken!”
“What do you mean by 3 million?” Madam Cameron couldn’t help but ask.

Master Cameron didn’t answer her question; his gaze was fixed on Sierra. His voice was trembling as he asked, “You spent 3 million on the design proposal?”
“I… I…” Sierra stammered. Her eyes were filled with fear.
She hadn’t expected Leo to come so soon, and actually, he would personally knock on her door to collect
the debt.
3 million? Wasn’t it 750 thousand dollars?” Maggie added fuel to the fire. She was determined not to let Sierra off so easily.
That’s right, not just the family, but she wouldn’t let every single one of them off so easily.
They had separated her from her parents, made her the scapegoat for the deaths of loved ones, disfigured her face, blinded her, and even committed a tragic death. She had wrongly hated Nathael for years!
It was probably extreme hatred that made Maggie’s eyes shine astonishingly
Sierra staggered and fell to the ground. She looked incredulously at Madam Cameron, who had always loved her since she was a child. She stammered, “G–Grandma…
Without comparison, it seemed acceptable, but when compared with the child of their enemy, Madam Cameron found it even more unbearable.
“You slapped me? All of you actually hit me! What did I do wrong?” Sierra felt the burning pain on her cheeks. The injuries that Master Cameron had inflicted on her a few days ago began to ache again.
Leo casually glanced at her and paid softly, “I have a pleasant conversation with Ms. Adam. Initially, I thought only asking for 1.5 million dollars and making friends with the Camerons would be nice. I didn’t expect Ms. Sierra to be so generous and insist on giving me 3 million. I have no reason to refuse. Master Cameron, what do you say?”
