Chapter 85 Clarification
Madam Cameron wanted to ask more questions, but Maggie had hurriedly left with Joseph.
Madam Cameron felt uneasy, sensing that something was off.
Maggie followed Joseph to the banquet hall, which had been set up to look like a press conference, with the audience packed below.
Both invited and uninvited guests were gathered to hear about the scandal involving Nathael. This was enough to trigger chaos throughout the entire Aquapolis.
Master Cameron and Ronald were already seated on the stage, with two empty seats in the middle reserved for Maggie and Joseph.
As soon as Maggie appeared, the flashlights started flashing incessantly, cameras pointing at her from all angles, afraid of missing any shot.
Disappointingly, the Camerons‘ daughter, who had come to “accuse and complain,‘ showed no signs of distress or grievance. Instead, she looked radiant, stunning, and breathtakingly beautiful.
“Ms. Adam, did Nathael violate you against your will?”
“Do you have any evidence?”

As soon as Maggie took her seat, the reporters below went crazy, one after another, asking questions like cats smelling fish, eager to be the first not to miss out.
Yet Maggie remained calm, with a clear and composed look in her eyes.
On the other hand, Master Cameron and Ronald looked solemn, their expressions tinged with anger.
Maggie’s gaze swept the audience below, not seeing Nathael and her people, but spotting Vanessa in the crowd, watching the show with delight.

Ronald was stunned for a few seconds. Then, his gaze fell on Maggie with a hint of scrutiny.

Joseph frowned and couldn’t help but glance at her, who remained calm and composed throughout the ordeal
Before Maggie could finish speaking, a reporter asked, “Are you saying Mr. Harris did not violate you?”

Maggie smiled and made a joke.
“And what do you have to say about being seen entering and leaving the hotel suite with Mr. Harris that night, staying together until the next morning?” another sharp journalist asked.
Maggie calmly replied, “If I remember correctly, Mr. Harris booked a suite. That night, I couldn’t handle my drink and got very drunk. Luckily, Mr. Harris, being kind–hearted, didn’t just throw me out considering our long–standing friendship.”
“So, you’re saying nothing happened that night? You and Mr. Harris are very
