At this time, Jasper and the little prince were walking slowly beside the busy street. The passing pedestrians were in a hurry but no one could have imagined that these two young people who were wandering beside the road were the true leaders among the young people in all of Somerland.
“Are you not going to go in and have a look?” Jasper said slowly.
“No. I’ll arrange for someone to send flowers inside. I think it’s the thought that counts. It’s also due to the arrangement of the elders in the family. I have no relations with the Haddock Chamber of Commerce,” the little prince said lightly.
“By the way, the crippled Brown has not been out of his residence in a very long time but this time, he stepped out because of you. Isn‘t he a difficult person to get along with?” He stopped, turned his head, and asked Jasper beside him.
The little prince, Lord Alvarado, and the crippled Brown were all in the same circle, but the crippled Brown had the most special identity and the highest status among them. Moreover, when it came to the crippled Brown, the little prince had very little contact with him, so he learned a lot of things through rumors. It was undeniable that the crippled Brown’s identity and status were superior, but he was not very familiar with the him.
After all, the crippled Brown stayed in his residence all year round and was withdrawn by nature, so few people could ever get in touch with him. Therefore, little prince was still unfamiliar with him in some aspects.
Jasper pondered for a while, then said, “Fortunately, he is not serious in speech and manner, but his thinking is different from most people. Many people can’t get along with him. Even people in our circle can hardly get along with him.”
The little prince shrugged and then lamented, “But in comparison, we are much more dashing than him. Maybe it‘s because Heaven is jealous of his talents, so he can only stay in his residence all his life.”
The crippled Brown had been living in his residence all year round, but he could understand the outside world clearly. Perhaps only he could do something like this.
After he heard this, Jasper did not continue to speak. He did not think the crippled Brown was difficult to get along with. Instead, he felt that getting along with him could reduce many obstacles because the crippled Brown could see things and people very clearly.
Sometimes, Jasper even wondered if the crippled Brown had reincarnated from the later generations just like him.
The two then went to a tea house. After getting out of the car, the aroma of tea filled their noses.
The waiter of the tea house immediately came to the two of them and led them to the door of a private room. “Mr. Brown, your guests are here.”
“Let them in.”
The attendant bowed at Jasper and then left.
Jasper stepped forward to open the door. When he saw the crippled Brown in a wheelchair, the two smiled at each other.
“You came earlier than I expected.”
Jasper stepped into the room and sat directly opposite the crippled Brown. Before Jasper could speak, the crippled Brown’s gaze shifted to the little prince.
“Member of the Royal family, why don’t you come in and take a seat?”
“I didn’t expect you to finally step out of your residence.”
After the little prince finished speaking, he sat down. The crippled Brown in front of him always gave him a sense of oppression. The crippled Brown looked away and made tea for the two of them.
“Jasper, how’re things with the United States?”
“It‘s done, and they are doing the finishing touches over there,” Jasper took the cup and said warmly.
“There‘s nothing to worry about, now it’s just time to test the waters. We’ll see the development of the industry in three years time.”
