After all, he could understand why Fabian and Kayden conspired to assassinate him. However, Dean did not have any conflict of interests with them at all, so they did not have to go all the way to Swallow Capital to take action against Dean.
Jasper thought for a while and asked again, “Have you found out who did it?”
The little prince replied, “It‘s not clear yet. I also received information from the Haddock Chamber of Commerce not long ago, but it is said that someone inside Haddock did it.”
Upon hearing this, Jasper already had an answer in his heart.
“Okay, I see, I’ll go back to Swallow Capital today to handle this.”
After hanging up the phone, he was lost in thought. Since Gale’s death, Dean had been the main decision-maker of the Haddock Chamber of Commerce, and Jasper had been trying his best to support Dean in this position. Still, it was inevitable that some people would be dissatisfied, such as Rio and others from back then.
As far as Jasper was concerned, he would only benefit from having Dean hold that position. There were no disadvantages to this. If it was a different person, he was not sure if that person would be on Jasper’s side.
Titus, he had to take care of this. He immediately arranged for a plane to head to Swallow Capital. Three hours later, the plane landed at Swallow Capital International Airport, and the little prince had sent a driver to pick him up at the airport.
Jasper got into the car and went directly to Swallow Capital General Hospital. Outside the ward, almost all the elders of the Haddock Chamber of Commerce were present.
After seeing Jasper’s arrival, the elders stepped forward to greet hint.
“Mr. Laine, you are here. Mr. Hall won’t let us tell you about this, so how did you find out?”
Upon hearing this, Jasper glanced at the elders and said, “Swallow Capital is not that big. If something like this happened to the Haddock Chamber of Commerce, you can’t hide the news of the assassination of the president. Alright, let’s not talk nonsense. Tell me how Dean is right now? Is he seriously injured?”
“Not really, but he needs to stay on the bed rest for some time.”
Jasper frowned when he heard that. After that, he asked, “Did you find out who’s the one behind that?”
“Uhm…”
The elders looked like they were in a dilemma. After all, Jasper was an outsider, and this was a matter within the Haddock Chamber of Commerce. Although Jasper had been very helpful to the Haddock Chamber of Commerce and Mr. Hall before that, that did not mean they had to tell him everything.
Jasper also saw through what was on the elders’ minds, so he did not intend to continue to ask questions.
