Life at The Top novel Chapter 2105

Jasper spent a few days at Swallow Capital to deal with some trivial matters, during which time he remembered to make a trip to Mr. McNeal’s house.

Mr. McNeal happened to be at home since he was on leave today, and he was a little surprised to see Jasper.

“Jasper, didn’t you go to Harbor City? Why are you back at this time?”

Jasper explained with a smile, “I’ve settled the matter in Harbor City. Since those big families fled abroad, Harbor City should be peaceful for a long time in the future. ”

After hearing that, Mr. McNeal nodded his head in relief. “That’s good, that’s good! Come in and have a seat…”

Mr. McNeal said and ordered someone to fetch them some tea.

“Try it, this is the earl gray I got from Suesville and Harvey City not long ago. Although it can’t compare to the premium green tea or rosemary tea, it has a distinctive flavor.”

Mr. McNeal was a tea lover. Whenever there were guests at his home, he would always take out his collection of premium tea, brew a pot, and taste it together with his guest.

Jasper took a sip of the tea and found that it tasted amazing. When the fragrance entered his throat, he felt immediately refreshed.

“Jasper, you must have a reason to come to me today, right?” Mr. McNeal looked at Jasper with a wise light in his eyes and asked with a smile.

Jasper nodded. “Mr. McNeal, you’re right. I do indeed have something to discuss with you today.”

“Oh, what is it? Tell me.” Mr. McNeal immediately became interested when he heard Jasper’s tone. He leaned on the sofa and quietly waited for Jasper’s next sentence.

Jasper said slowly, “Before this, the real estate industry in Harbor City has been dominated by Half the Harbor Langdon since the 1970s. A few years ago, he extended his reach to the Tri Delta in the mainland, but now with the defeat of Half the Harbor Langdon, someone needs to take over the huge real estate market he has left behind. I think you should have noticed this a long time ago, right?”

Mr. McNeal nodded. He had indeed been closely following this matter. After all, if nothing went wrong, the Somerland real estate market would become a key factor in the growth of domestic GDP in the future.

“I went to see the old man two days ago. Although he did not express it clearly, I estimate that soon, the reform of the domestic economy will be inevitable. The development of the real estate industry can bring about a large number of jobs, as well as drive the surrounding economy. Furthermore, it will even become a pillar industry of the domestic economy in the future.”

As Mr. McNeal said this, he could not help frowning slightly. He looked like he was in a dilemma before he looked at Jasper and said, “Just as you know, after Half the Harbor Langdon and his son left, there is still no one in Somerland who can step forward and take the lead in the real estate industry.”
