After Jasper left Mr. McNeal’s place, he received a call from Adele.

“Jasper, I heard that you have returned to Swallow Capital. Are you free today? My brother wants to invite you to dinner.”

Jasper smiled when he heard this. He did not expect the news to spread so quickly after he stepped off the plane. Coincidentally, he also wanted to meet the crippled Brown and discuss something with him.

“Okay, I’ll come directly to your house later.”

Adele was pleased at how fast Jasper agreed. “Okay, then I’ll go tell my brother now…”

Jasper first went to the hotel to get a room. He put down his luggage, and then rushed to the Browns’ residence without stopping.

Adele told her family‘s cooks ahead of time to cook a sumptuous dinner based on Jasper‘s taste.

Jasper rushed back from Harbor City and did not even have time to drink a sip of water when he was at Mr. McNeal’s house. Now, he could finally eat something at the crippled Brown’s house.

As soon as he entered the door, he saw the delicious food on the table in the hall. He was immediately tempted and could not stop himself from saying, “It smells so good!”

“Jasper, you’re here! Look, I specially asked the cooks to cook your favorite meals today, so sit down!” Adele said with a smile and stepped forward, pulling him to the table to sit down.

Jasper glanced around but could not see the crippled Brown anywhere. Therefore, he asked curiously, “Didn’t you say your brother wants to see me? Why isn’t he here?”

Adele glanced upstairs and explained, “My brother is meeting with a partner who works closely with our family. I think they’re almost down, and he will come down soon. You should sit down first.”
