Woody finally got the call he dreamed of at 3 PM.
“Mr. Woody, Team Thor has been assembled…”
“Great! You’re finally back I missed you guys so much!”
Woody could not stop himself from saying that. Then, he went to an underground bar to welcome these people.
Team Thor was a team Woody cultivated in the Nason family. There were six of them, and Woody spent a lot of money to train them rigorously for three years. Woody spent a lot of effort assembling this team back then.
When Woody saw everyone, he popped a bottle of champagne to celebrate.
“Mr. Woody, what happened?”
Anyone could tell that Woody had been holding himself back for a very long time, which was why he was making up for it now.
“I’ll tell you after this drink. You don’t know my situation here. I made no progress at all.”
Woody clinked his glass against the other party and blurted everything out once he was intoxicated.
After the team heard that, they comforted Woody as if he had just told them a joke.
“Mr. Woody, I didn’t want to make fun of you, but can those guys even be called mercenaries? They are just a bunch of army riff-raffs!”
“Yeah! How can they compare to us? You should have come to us to get rid of the root problem immediately.”
After Woody heard that, he nodded earnestly as well.
“Right, that’s why I asked for all of you the first moment I could. I know about your abilities, so this time, we must complete our plan… Everyone, have fun tonight. Our job will start tomorrow!”
Woody left the alcohol on the bartop and returned to his room.
