“The Eagles had been staying silent for about ten years. So, it’s good news that they are showing up now,” Julian said slowly.
Then, he approached Fidel and whispered, “I’ll get going now. You should stay here. After all, you’re still Jasper to outsiders, so you can’t show your face right now.”
“Where are you doing?” Fidel asked.
“Don’t worry. I’m going to take action myself. It’s inconvenient to bring you along so you should stay here and wait for me.”
Julian promised Fidel that Darry would send him food. However, he had to continue this act.
Shortly after, Julian walked out of the cave and followed Darry into the car secretly.
Darry drove the car to an alley with no one else around.
“A lot of people sell arms inside there. You must be careful.”
This was all Darry could do. Since firearms were involved, his actions were limited.
Julian nodded and walked into the deepest part of the alley in the depths of the night.
After entering, Julian found a lively market hidden inside. All kinds of things were sold here. It seemed like a night market that could be found in Somerland. The people here would make a living by selling arms, so none of them were easy-going people.
After looking around for a long time, Julian noticed a lot of the firearms here were high caliber weapons. They were great for a team, but it was not suitable for Julian, who worked alone.
He hoped he could find a sniper rifle here, but he did not find any until now.
“Hmm? What’s this?”
Even though he did not find a sniper rifle, he found an 8x sniper scope. No matter where it came from, Julian bought it the moment he saw it. Then, he looked around for a long time before noticing a few locals carrying self-made crossbow arrows.
